Simple understanding of winemaking
The event takes visitors along a meticulously planned tasting journey. Everyone leaves with a simple understanding of Bordeaux winemaking and the qualitative endeavours of selected crus. To facilitate the discovery of red wines, for example, crus from the right banks of the Garonne and Gironde are distinguished from the left banks. After all, there aren’t thirty different taste families in Bordeaux, like the thirty existing AOP red wines might suggest, but two flavour profiles depending on whether the cru is on the left or right bank.
